Seattle Terrors Spirits and Spirits Haunted Pub Crawl
Seattle is a hotbed for reports of unexplained happenings. The city boasts haunted hotels, restaurants, and even bars. Looking to learn more? Join us on a Seattle Haunted Pub Crawl and see Seattle in an entirely new and unique way!
Book NowSeattle lies on a narrow strip of land between the salty waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Lake Washington. Beyond these waters lies two rugged mountain ranges, the Olympics and the Cascades. The city is built on Indigenous land, the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people, specifically the Suquamish and Duwamish tribes.
They lived in the region for thousands of years before the arrival of settlers, who came in 1851. Settlers first established a townsite called “New York” adding a word from Chinook jargon meaning ‘by-and-by,’ which ended up as “New York-Alki” They soon moved a short distance across Elliott Bay and established a village, naming it Seattle, after the Duwamish Native leader named Sealth.

Kells Irish Restaurant and Bar
This authentic Irish pub has everything: shepherd’s pie, corned beef, and plenty of spirits of the boozy-kind and the otherworldly-kind. Before it became a popular bar and restaurant, the building operated as a mortuary, the first in the U.S. Pull up a barstool and learn where so many of the mortuary’s bodies came from and why the spirits may never be at rest. There’s a reason why this bar has the largest collection of whiskey in Seattle.
Pike Place Market
The most famous landmark in Seattle also happens to be the most haunted. Though it serves as Seattle’s premier spot for locally-sourced and specialty foods, its notoriety comes with a dark and disturbing past. Years of racial tensions and unspeakable acts created the spirits that draw in thousands of eager ghost hunters to Pike Place every year. Be sure to throw back a couple of cocktails at the Can Can - you’re going to need them for the twisted tales we reveal about this seemingly innocent marketplace.
The Moore Theater
This entertainment venue has been host to a variety of events, but it’s the building’s ties to a musical legend that give it its haunted reputation. Developed in 1907, the theater was the place to be for anyone looking for top-notch, family-friendly entertainment. One entertainer, in particular, is said to have left a lasting mark - one that manifests in the form of lights flickering on and off and the unexplained smell of cigar smoke. Find out which Seattle icon is said to haunt this famous theater on this boozy stroll through downtown Seattle.
