San Antonio’s Haunted History

Everyone wants a piece of San Antonio. Initially settled by the Payaya people, the Spanish Empire claimed it in 1718. It transitioned to Mexican administrators in 1821 and eventually became a part of proudly independent Texas. It changed hands from American forces to confederate, and finally American again.

The constant turning tides meant this city was full of strife and violence. The city also attracted various characters: Catholic priests, outlaws, dignitaries, and those seeking a new life. Davy Crockett famously made his last visit to San Antonio in 1836 when he died in the Battle of the Alamo.

Hop on board a US Ghost Adventure tour and learn all the urban legends, folklore, stories, and haunted history San Antonio has to offer. This tour is not for the faint of heart, guaranteed to take your breath away.
