Welcome To Orange Ghosts
A market of antiquities, a deceptively quaint mansion, and a place of worship make up some of Orange’s most haunted locations. California may be a land of sunshine, movie stars, and sweeping valleys, but Orange grounds the fantasy with its tales of lost souls, tragic apparitions, and otherworldly curiosities.
The Power of Regret

Orange Ghosts goes beyond the souvenirs and gallery of Native American art to unveil the shocking truth behind the trading company’s resident spirit.
Hear how a chance, tragic event one cold and rainy evening left one dead and another tormented by guilt. A countless number of dead were brought into the undertaker’s care, yet it’s the man who faced mortality daily who refuses to leave his quarters. The Mysterious Glutton of the Elliot Alumni House

The alumni house has had many personalities. From a private residence to the den of remembrance it is today, Orange Ghosts reveals its timeline to unveil the truth behind the snack-grabbing haunt. Is it one of the Granger children, who lived with their parents and original owners, William and Ella? Or maybe it’s the wispy apparition of a woman once spotted by a Chapman alumni standing at the top of the stairs.
Why is Orange so Haunted?
An Afflicted Beauty
Viewed from its front, the Royer Mansion has the appearance of a common Craftsman home. It’s quaint and elegant, but far from earning the stately title of “mansion.” From a broader overview, though, its 6,000 square feet come clearly into view. For those looking close enough, so, too, does that ghostly figure that’s earned this building the title of the most haunted house in Orange County.
Empathize with the young girl whose life ended too soon, ripped away by a mysterious illness. Not even being the daughter of a doctor helped her overcome her affliction. And so the young beauty, a stunning vision that the whole town mourned over, remains anchored to the mansion. Her apparition freezes men on the spot, and she’s none too shy in the presence of the living.
The mansion has had many lives, from a medical office to the city’s Chamber of Commerce. Through each, poor Elizabeth remains a permanent fixture with no means of leaving this mortal coil. Is it a cure for the affliction that took her life she seeks, or merely the company of others to curb the loneliness of eternity? Find out with Orange Ghosts.
Orange’s Most Haunted
A shop of antiquities is bound to have a resident spirit. At Antique Station, though, it’s not a specter anchored to a family heirloom that darts between the aisles. Many believe it’s the residual of a young boy whose life was tragically and painfully lost in a freak accident. The faint aroma of gasoline or lingering smoke is believed to be a sign of the shadow of Antique Station.
A place of worship today, the Son of Light Christian Center once attracted stars and starlets looking to make their big break. The former Orange Theater was no stranger to drama, especially under the direction of a rather boisterous personality, Elliot. An effective director, Elliot was also quite beastly, earning the disdain of those working with him. Could his temper have been what led to his body having been found at the bottom of a staircase? Only his noisy specter knows.
