Viewed from its front, the Royer Mansion has the appearance of a common Craftsman home. It’s quaint and elegant, but far from earning the stately title of “mansion.” From a broader overview, though, its 6,000 square feet come clearly into view. For those looking close enough, so, too, does that ghostly figure that’s earned this building the title of the most haunted house in Orange County.

Many believe it’s the residual of a young boy whose life was tragically and painfully lost in a freak accident. The faint aroma of gasoline or lingering smoke is believed to be a sign of the shadow of Antique Station.
A place of worship today, the Son of Light Christian Center once attracted stars and starlets looking to make their big break. The former Orange Theater was no stranger to drama, especially under the direction of a rather boisterous personality, Elliot. An effective director, Elliot was also quite beastly, earning the disdain of those working with him. Could his temper have been what led to his body having been found at the bottom of a staircase?
