Dallas’ Haunted History

As the ninth most populated city in the United States and the third-largest city in Texas, Dallas has a lot to offer when it comes to the history of its citizens. Dallas initially developed due to the major railroad lines that allowed for new trade routes and opportunities. Now, with four major interstate highways converging within the city, it remains a hub for travel. 

The Caddo people first inhabited what would be known as Dallas before its colonization by the Spanish. In total, six flags have flown over the area, including those of France, Mexico, Spain, Texas, the United States, and the Confederate. Dallas possesses a rich history as a bustling center of trade dating back to the 19th century.
