Welcome To Dallas Terrors

A city of opulence and grandeur is filled with the scorned souls of the crucified and betrayed. Find out why the heart of Texas is also the hub of some of the most gruesome and brutal tragedies of the 20th century.

Murder, Mysteries, and Misfortune

Everything is bigger and bolder in Texas and in Big-D, behind its stunning skyscrapers, lavish hotels, and historic buildings lies a giant saga of death, dark secrets, and deep mysteries that continue to haunt the heart of this city, deep in the heart of the Texas. Dallas may be known for its rich culture and fantastic opportunities but this Lonestar stunner is stained with a painful origin story that showed no mercy.

Journey into the black heart of Dallas’ past as Dallas Terrors introduces you to historical markers and sites that each harbor their own cruel truth.

From eerie feelings and sounds to full apparition sightings, the past continues to linger and, in some cases, repeat itself. Join us as we take you on a gripping ghost tour through one of the busiest metropolitan areas in the state of Texas that’s just as famous for its marvels as it is for its horrific history-making events.

WHAT WILL I SEE ON THIS TOUR?

Dallas’s Darkest Hour

Famous for its status of wealth and decadence, infamous for being home to one of the evilest, history-altering acts to occur in US history – the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Dallas Terrors takes you to the second-largest tourist attraction in the state of Texas and one of the more well-known stops on the tour, Dealey Plaza – a site that harbors the sins of the past and has been cursed ever since.

Hear about the disdain Ted Dealey, the son of the man for whom the Plaza was named, had for America’s president and how his eerie comments and public denouncing of the president would come back to haunt him following that ill-fated day. Uncover the unnerving reports of a dark, foreboding figure that now inhabits the area, sending chills down the spines of all who encounter it.

Located behind Dealey Plaza is what’s known as the grassy knoll, a site that is infamous for playing a role in the president’s assassination but is not well-known for a hanging that occurred in the 1800s. Learn about the brutal nature of the hangings of three slaves in his tainted area, and how their disturbing, unavenged ends created a restless, dreadful force that dominates the grassy knoll.

Evils Hidden in Plain Sight

An unassuming La Quinta Inn & Suites draws in supernatural aficionados from all over the country in hopes to spot one of several spirits that inhabit the hotel. With half a dozen known deaths to have occurred within the building’s walls, reports of disturbing encounters and ethereal sightings are numbered in the hundreds.

Uncover the horrors that have occurred within the four walls of what was once the Lawrence Hotel. A site of unimaginable violence, the site has been host to multiple murders and even one suicide. Hear the frightening tales of encounters with the forsaken spirits, particularly those on the 10th floor where anyone who dares step foot is likely to have a run-in with Joseph, a murder victim who continues to seek vengeance on anyone that stays in his room, 1009.

The Evolution of a City and The Vexing of The Dead

The quest to turn Dallas into a mecca for culture and prosperity would not be without its strife. Prior to becoming the West End Marketplace, the area was troubled by poor living conditions which resulted in waves of crime and never-ending bloodshed. Adding to the calamity of it all, the massive building that is the heart of the marketplace was the site where some of the most gruesome acts took place.

Learn about the egregious evils committed against the dead that were kept in the building’s coolest room, the basement. It was here where circus dwellers dismembered the bodies and sold them on the black market only to resort to murder when the demand got too high. Be vigilant of the dark alleyways that line the Marketplace as the souls of the desecrated remain, still in anguish from their former lives and terrorizing the living.

WHY IS DALLAS SO HAUNTED?

Tragic, Untimely, and Cruel Ends

What serves as the current courthouse was once a smaller version of the building where particular criminals were tried and sentenced. Here, you’ll find yourself standing in the same spot where these criminals were hanged for the public to see and hear the story of one criminal whose fate was met by the townspeople that took justice into their own hands.

The Old Red Museum is home to local history, a gorgeous exterior, and the city’s first death by the electric chair which is also the most botched of all those that were sentenced to the same gruesome punishment. The room in which this prisoner met his ultimate end is said to house an eerie presence with numerous cases of unexplained activity occurring ever since his death.

There was no shortage of murder and mystery in the development of downtown Dallas. Discover The Sixth Floor Museum where Oswald claimed the life of beloved President John F. Kennedy, and was the site of an unavenged murder several years prior. This ill-fated building is forever the home of the executed, doomed to relive the moment of his death for unsuspecting occupants to hear.

Twisted Tales of The Demented

Standing three stories tall, “The Eye” is a piece of Dallas architecture that defines the feeling of “being watched”. However, it’s not just the art that gives passerbys an uneasy feeling. Uncover the horrendous past of this very site that once housed the Praetorian building where a woman was brutally murdered by a co-worker in front of her own colleagues. Her murderer was never caught and the victim, Sally, remained trapped in the spot where she was so mercilessly executed. Though “The Eye” has since replaced the building, Sally’s spirit continues to wander the area sending chills down the spines of anyone who encounters her.

Visit The Wilson, a historic building in the heart of downtown Dallas that boasts more than elegant features and grandeur. This incredible landmark was originally built for Mr. John B. Wilson, a businessman who met a violent end at the hands of a disgruntled poker player, suffering several stab wounds before succumbing to his injuries in front of his own building. The remnants of this brutal crime remain as accounts of ghastly moans, bone-chilling cold spots, and disembodied voices are often experienced in the spot where he met his demise.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT DALLAS TERRORS?

Experience a Side of Dallas No One Talks About

There are some locations that are so special they’re preserved to ensure the city never loses the pieces that helped establish it. That preservation however, can sometimes include those who came before us. Journey to the Majestic Theater, Dallas’ most popular entertainment venue that houses more than live theater shows.

It’s believed that the theater is still a home away from home for former owner Karl Hoblitzelle who passed away in the 1960s. His spirit has been seen frequenting the hallways and, at times, sitting in the red velvet chairs – and he’s not alone. Unexplained activity such as empty phone calls, disembodied footsteps, and strange flickering lights have been experienced by employees and guests alike, and you just might be next.

Join Dallas Terrors as we take you to the area’s most iconic buildings while introducing you to the souls that refuse to leave, and how they got stuck there. If the famous history alone is enough to send chills down your spine, wait until you discover the ominous secrets that continue to make downtown Dallas a hotspot for the unexplained. Whether you’re a believer in ghosts or are just looking for a fun way to explore the heart of the city, this tour is sure to make your visit a memorable and creepy one!

A Once-In-A-Lifetime Experience You’ll Never Forget

There are not very many thriving cities that serve as a bright spot for their respective state yet bear an unsettling backstory filled with some of the most petrifying and tragic events to occur in one spot. You’ll stand in the spots where notable, devious events became etched in history to be retold for generations to come, such as The Wilson.

The Wilson serves as one of the best visuals for the foundations upon which Dallas built: business and wealth. It’s also a perfect example of what happens when greed and the darkness take over, as former owner John Wilson learned in brutal, dramatic fashion. Following a heated poker game where Wilson would be victorious, his opponent would stab him in front of his own building, leaving him for dead and his soul forever searching for revenge.

You don’t have to be a Texan to take it all in, you just need to join us!
