The Driskill Hotel

Paranormal investigators flock to Room 525 to try and capture the spine-chilling energy left behind by two distraught women who took their lives in this very room. Their deaths spawned a variety of tragedies that left behind the tortured souls of the forsaken and left The Driskill Hotel a part of haunted Austin history.
Casino El Camino
It’s not every day that a bar and restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives can also make a cameo on any number of ghost hunting shows. When you visit the Casino El Camino, you’re stepping into a former boarding house where a woman named Mary continues living in the afterlife. Her disembodied taps and door slamming have made her ghost so popular that the bar has a drink dedicated to her. Hear her tale while enjoying a Bloody Mary that’s as spicy as this active spirit.
Maggie Mae’s
Anything goes on 6th Street, and that includes the years before it became Austin’s renowned hotspot. This mainstay is named after a prostitute known for getting sailors drunk and robbing them blind. Though she was caught and sent away to pay for her crimes, her spirit is said to wander the streets in front of the bar, looking for her next victim.
