Why Choose Asheville Terrors Boos and Booze Haunted Pub Crawl

We want to make this a night to remember (literally!), so between some of the most haunted bars and pubs in Asheville, our haunted pub crawl takes you to the city’s most historic buildings, like the Asheville Flatiron Building. The inside of the building is said to resemble the Winchester Mansion with its winding staircases and confusing layout. Of course, we won’t be heading inside. Trust us; after a few drinks, it’s for the best.

Here are a few more reasons to book an Asheville haunted pub crawl tonight!

Where You'll Go

Pack’s Tavern

Asheville Terrors takes you to where the boozing began. Prior to operating as Pack’s Tavern, the building was home to a lumber supply warehouse, or at least it seemed. The building’s basement provided access to an underground tunnel that was used to traffic moonshine and mass amounts of liquor during prohibition. This rebellion wasn’t without its misfortune. With over 30 beers on tap and a huge cocktail and wine selection, there’s plenty to help you get through the stories of the tavern’s tunnel.

Storm Rhum Bar

Regarded as one of the finest restaurants in Asheville, Storm’s signature cocktail, Dark and Stormy, is more than just a trademark drink. It also happens to reflect the unexplained activity that occurs inside the kitchen. Dishes have been known to fly off the shelf, and staff have witnessed lights flickering on and off in eerie patterns. Order a Dark and Stormy or their other signature drink, a Disco Lemonade, and, if you’re lucky, the staff might share their first-hand experiences themselves.

Battery Park Hotel

A visit to Battery Park Hotel should require a minimum of two drinks. Now operating as senior apartments, the building has been the scene of gruesome murders and untimely deaths, with the most notable being that of Helen Clevenger. Following her brutal murder inside her hotel room, a wrongfully convicted man was executed for her death, adding to its already dark past. Don’t worry; you’ll be in a brave state of mind by the time we introduce you to this disturbing Asheville artifact.
